Calendar of Events

Do you have endurance? This competition, similar to the hit television show Amazing Race, will put you through challenges at different parks in Franklin Park in an exciting race to the finish at the Community Center. Prepare to get dirty and walk up to three miles as we test your endurance. Teams are comprised of four people; you may register as a team or as an individual and we will put you on a team. Afterward, we will have a wrap-up pizza party at the Community Center. A Park District chaperone will be assigned to each group and we'll have a rules meeting before the race starts to ensure everyone's safety. Teams are encouraged to dress alike - a special spirit award will be given to teams who display the most spirit through their actions and uniforms. Advanced registration is required to accommodate staff and supplies. The race will take place rain or shine, so dress appropriately.
