Season Passes

Spend your summer cooling off at the Pool on Pacific. A season pass is the most economical way to visit the pool. If a resident family of four people, two adults and two children, visit the pool three days a week, their season pass would be pay for itself in just six visits! If you purchase your pass before May 10, you'll save $10!

Registering for a Pool Pass is Easy!

If you have your photo ID card from last year, just mail your payment with your completed registration form. We will save you a trip by automatically updating your pass.

If you or any members of your family do not have a photo ID card from last year, just mail your payment and completed registration form, and your family can have photo IDs taken at our offices. At that time, you will be asked to verify residency and that everyone on the pass is a member of your family. Season passes are non-refundable.

Pool Pass Punch Card
Are you expecting guests for a weekend? Not sure you will be able to visit the pool more than a few times this season? Then a Pool Pass Punch Card is right for you! Purchase a card with either 10 or 20 punches, and you can use them for admission to the pool during the 2011 season. One coupon admits a child and two coupons admit an individual 12 years of age or older. That is a savings of at least $1 per person off the daily admission rate. Punch Cards may only be purchased by residents of Franklin Park and expire the last day of the season. Photo identification with Franklin Park address must be presented when purchasing the coupon books at the Community Center. Coupon books will be available for purchase beginning April 1.

Private Weekend Pool Parties
Enjoy a warm summer evening with your family and friends at the Pool on Pacific. Rent the Pool on Pacific for private parties starting at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday nights. A perfect outing for company parties, scout troops and sports teams. Our newly renovated facility offers a large swim area, three waterslide, a diving board and a fun children's water play area. You can bring your own food or enjoy the convenience of our concession stand. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on pool property and all pool rules and policies must be followed. Our fully staffed facility is designed to provide a safe and fun environment for your next celebration. Please note: Lifeguards are required to take a 10-minute safety break each hour. Dates fill quickly, and are based on a first-come, first-served basis - so reserve today! For more information, call 847-455-2852.

Open Swim Pool Parties
If you're looking to host a small gathering at the pool, our new Open Swim Pool Party option may be right for you! We can offer your group of up to 24 people a special deal to host a party during regular open swim hours. The base fee covers unlimited swimming starting at 1:00 p.m., pizza, pop and an ice cream treat for the first 12 guests. A $5/person fee is charged for each additional guest, up to 24 people. Need to get your Resident Pass? Minimize

Come to the Community Center at 9560 Franklin Avenue with a valid driver's license or state ID and current property tax or utility bill showing your name and address.  All children must also obtain a pass to receive In-District rates.  Parents or guardians must provide a copy of each child's birth certificate or guardian papers.

Grand Opening Weekend at the Pool on Pacific

Saturday, May 24 from 12–6 pm

Join us on Memorial Day weekend for your first taste of summer freedom! Bring the whole family and stay the day. All you need is your Season Pass or daily admission to enjoy music, free popcorn, raffles and prizes.

Fourth of July
Friday, July 4 from 12–4 pm
Fee: Daily Admission or Season Pass
On the Fourth of July, the Pool on Pacific will be open for residents to celebrate and cool off. At 1 pm, join us at the flagpole to sing our national anthem. Then enjoy games, raffles and prizes for the rest of the afternoon. A great way to spend the holiday with your family!

Movie Nights at the Pool
Friday, August 1 and August 22 from dusk (approximately 8:30 pm)
Fee: $5 per person or FREE with a Season Pass
Looking for a new idea for family night? Watch a movie poolside or in the water at the Pool on Pacific. Popcorn will be provided at no cost and concession items will be available for purchase. Only pool noodles will be allowed; no flotation devices allowed.

Narwhals Swim Team

This program is designed for boys and girls ages 6-18. A total of six swim meets are held during June and July. All home meets will be held at the Pool on Pacific in Franklin Park. The Narwhal Swim Team for the Leyden Area Township participates in the Central Suburban Swim Conference. Swimmers must be able to swim 50 yards (2 laps) without stopping. Our Narwhals Swim Team is founded on the premise of excellence in instruction and commitment to the athlete. This program promotes sportsmanship, team spirit, responsibility and individual achievement to the level of excellence desired by and within the physical abilities of each swimmer. The swim team will develop each swimmer to his or her full potential. Look for more information on the swim team in our summer brochure or contact the Park District at 847-455-2852.
Pool Policies Minimize
  • Any person entering the pool must have a valid season pass or pay a daily admission fee. Children under the age of three are admitted free and must be accompanied by an adult
  • An adult must accompany children under age eight
  • All posted health, slide, and safety rules must be followed
  • For safety purposes, jewelry is not allowed on the waterslide at any time
  • No coolers, glass containers, outside food, or smoking are permitted inside the facility
  • Upon entrance, all patrons are subject to having their bags checked
  • Swimmers must wear clean bathing suits. No cut-offs, gym shorts, or spandex shorts are permitted. Only solid white T-shirts may be worn to protect against sunburn
  • The baby pool is limited to children ages five and younger
  • Children who are not toilet trained must wear tight-fitting rubber or plastic pants and swim diapers. Swim pants and diapers are available for $2 each at the Front Desk. For health purposes, this policy is strictly enforced.
  • Lockers are available for rent
  • Food must be kept in the concession area at all times
  • Picture or camera phones are not allowed in the Pool or Locker Room areas All patrons are required to cooperate with lifeguard's direction

NOTE: The pool will not be open when the air temperature is less than 70 degrees, when lightning or thunder is present, or when there are fewer than 10 patrons present.
