AARP Smart Driver

AGE: 50 Years & Up

AARP Smart Driver is the nation’s first and largest driver safety course designed especially for drivers 50+. In addition to award-winning classroom and online courses, AARP Smart Driver is one of the best examples of AARP at the local level. Those who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate and may qualify for a discount on their auto insurance premium. Please bring AARP membership card and current driver’s license to class.

Knitting, Crocheting & Needlepoint Club

AGE: 50 Years & Up

This free program is designed for anyone who would like to learn how to snit, needlepoint or crochet. Two members have volunteered to bring extra supplies and give instructions to those who may need them.

Days: First and Third Tuesday of the month
Time: 1:00-2:30 pm

First Aid, CPR/AED Training – Adult & Child plus Infant 

AGE: 16 Years & Up

This course includes CRP and training in using an automated external defibrillator (AED) on an adult and child victim of sudden cardiac arrest. This course will cover breathing and cardiac emergencies for adults, infants, and children, as well as first aid topics such as sudden illness, heat and cold emergencies, and basic precautions to prevent disease transmission. Certification is good for 2 years.
