On Sunday, October 6, 2019, the 42nd Annual Eddie Biondo Fall Fest Parade marched through the streets of Franklin Park. This annual event is a staple in town that the Park District organizes for the community to enjoy.

This year’s parade featured 44 groups including, East Leyden High School’s Marching Band and cheerleaders, Hester Junior High’s Marching Band, Medinah clowns, Medinah Flying Carpets and other local organizations. The Park District of Franklin Park’s preschool, dance, hockey, skating and speed skating participants were also in the parade. We thank all participants that marched.

Following the parade, Fall Fest at North Park helped kick off the season. Children were able to walk through our pumpkin patch and pick one to paint and carve. Face painters and balloon artists displayed their creativity. We also had a bounce house, inflatable rock climbing wall and a trackless train to keep children entertained.

The cool fall weather made for a beautiful day in Franklin Park and we hope you and your families enjoyed the events. We had a great turnout and can’t wait for the 43rd Annual Eddie Biondo Fall Fest Parade!
