Every April, Kids Garden Month is celebrated. This year is a little different, as our teachers and staff can not teach your children in the classroom or at our Earth Day Celebration. We can however provide some resources and encourage you to garden at home.
The Parks Department’s own Ken Benson shared 10 Basic Steps for Starting a Backyard Vegetable Garden. This guide is a perfect outline for beginners. There are unlimited garden resources and techniques online that can help with every aspect of home gardening.
