We are pleased to announce that based on State of Illinois Phase 4 Guidelines released late Friday, The Park District of Franklin Park is reopening Playgrounds in our parks beginning Monday June 29, after complete cleaning of playground equipment and removal of all barriers.
Requirements include a maximum of 50 Residents at each playground and CDC social distancing guidelines. New signage will be posted at each site.
Basketball Courts at North, James, Birch, & Championship Parks are also open within the 50 person limitation and CDC guidelines. Splash pads at James and Championship Parks will reopen next week as soon as the water systems are activated and tested with an announcement to follow.
