For decades, our seasonal brochures have landed in mailboxes across Franklin Park, filled with programs, events, and opportunities that bring our community together. From swim lessons and dance recitals to family events and fitness classes, these pages have shared the story of every season at the Park District. Now, we are excited to begin a new chapter.
Starting in 2026, the Park District of Franklin Park will launch its first fully digital seasonal brochure, beginning with the Spring into Summer edition. This change is designed to make finding and registering for programs simpler, faster, and more convenient for everyone. With just a few clicks, residents will be able to browse programs, check dates, and register online from their phone, tablet, or computer.
And for those who prefer flipping through printed pages, that option is not going anywhere. We will continue to:
- Mail newsletters like this one with important updates and announcements
- Send reminder postcards when new brochures are released
- Offer printed copies for pickup at all Park District facilities
- Deliver printed copies to your home upon request
This transition is about putting our community first. By shifting to a digital-first brochure, we can:
- Reinvest savings into the programs, parks, and events you love
- Provide real-time updates when schedules or details change
- Offer greater convenience for residents who already explore programs or register online
As our community grows and technology continues to shape how we connect, this step helps us serve residents more efficiently and responsively while still honoring the traditions that make Franklin Park special.
