The community came together on April 18 from 12:00–2:00 p.m. to celebrate Earth Day with an afternoon full of learning, connection, and environmental awareness. Residents of all ages enjoyed visiting a variety of vendor booths, where organizations shared helpful information on sustainable practices, conservation efforts, and ways to live a little greener. Vendors also provided plenty of giveaways, giving attendees the opportunity to take home resources and eco-friendly items to continue their efforts beyond the event.
A special highlight of the celebration was the involvement of local school district students, who participated in planting a beautiful cherry tree. This meaningful activity symbolized growth, renewal, and a shared commitment to caring for the environment. It was inspiring to see the students work together, creating something that will continue to grow and benefit the community for years to come.
Overall, the Earth Day Celebration was a great success, bringing the community together to learn, engage, and take action. Thank you to everyone who attended, our wonderful vendors, and the students who made this day so memorable.
