We’re excited to introduce a new name for our early childhood program: Sprouts, Seedlings & Sunflowers!
While our name is changing, the heart of our program remains the same. Sprouts, Seedlings & Sunflowers reflects the way young children grow and learn through play, exploration, creativity, friendships, and hands-on experiences.
Our program will continue to provide children with engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage social-emotional development, independence, creativity, movement, and early learning skills in a fun and nurturing environment.

For generations, our early childhood classrooms have been a special part of growing up in Franklin Park, with Ms. Pam Prout and Ms. Lora Davila helping create memories for so many local families.
Since 2009, Ms. Pam has been at the heart of our longtime Preschool classroom, now called Sunflowers. The name may be new, but it’s still the same great program filled with the traditions and experiences families have loved for years.
Throughout her 10 years with the Park District, Ms. Lora has welcomed countless little learners into her classroom, including siblings from many of the same families! Today, she teaches our Sprouts (2-year-olds) and Seedlings (3-year-olds), and you may also recognize her from enrichment classes and babysitting courses over the years.
With years of experience and dedicated passion for helping your children learn and grow, our teachers create a nurturing environment, where every child can thrive.

Register for our Early Childhood Program and give your little ones the opportunity to learn and have fun with our amazing teachers.
For Sprouts, Seedlings, and Sunflowers birth certificates are required for registration. Please note that there are nine monthly payments for the school year. The first payment is due at registration. Subsequent payment on the 15th of every month.
