The Park District of Franklin Park’s After-School Program was awarded a $1,000 PowerPlay! Beyond School Grant. We have been a previous recipient of the PowerPlay! Grant in 2004, 2005 and 2012. The $1,000 grant will be used in the 2017-2018 school year to subsidize program cost to energize today’s youth through health, nutrition and fitness experiences. The grant is made possible through the continued funding from sales and subsequent renewals of the Park District Youth License Plate Program.
