Thunder Soccer has provided a quality youth soccer program for the Leyden Community for the past 35 years. This is an all-volunteer program with parents and relatives becoming coaches and Board Members. Thunder Soccer is a proud member of the IYSA, Illinois Youth Soccer Association, and was recognized in 2009 as the Top Recreational Youth Soccer Club in Illinois.
Thunder Soccer conducts three seasons in the fall, winter/indoor and spring for boys and girls grades K-8. Two one-hour training sessions are scheduled weekly and eight scheduled matches on Sundays.
